A safe and stylish alternative to carrying a purse has finally arrived. Yes, it’s here and you can be on the front lines to become purse free!
Designer, Leslie Van Dorf, of Nashotah, WI, has created a wonderful solution for all women. The product is called Purse-Les.
This innovative line of pocketed women’s clothing currently includes two styles of tops – tank and sport, in five sizes (XS-XL) and five colors.
Three front interior pockets discreetly carry items such as ID, cash, credit cards or cell phone. Ms. Van Dorf has designed Purse-Les for women with women in mind. Whether it’s a night on the town, sporting events, exercising or any other everyday activity, Purse-Les tops allow you to be engaged with all you need close to your body. Safe and secure but also fashionably styled to be the perfect layering piece.
Women can customize their Purse-Les to their needs and activity.
Van Dorf said the premise of her idea was to create a product that more functionally mimics what women have already been doing for years – placing small items into their undergarments if their clothes do not have pockets eliminating the need for a purse while on the go.
Purse-Les is for any age group. Van Dorf’s two daughters (20 & 17) use them to hold their phones and i-pods while running or other activities for school. Also a customer (80) wears Purse-Les daily to carry her cell phone for safety.
“My biggest goal is to help women feel safe, more secure and more independent,” says Van Dorf. She also donates a percentage of sales to woman’s causes which include breast cancer research and women’s shelters nationwide.
Van Dorf has been featured on several morning television shows: The Real Milwaukee Show, The Morning Blend-Milwaukee and The Morning Blend in Cape Coral FL. TV hosts say, “This is the hottest new fashion to hit for a long time”.
